The installation of the original building, dating from the first century BC and second century A.D., are preserved in full perimeter walls, with circular towers.
The turreted walls, built in imitation of the city’s fortifications, is an element that characterizes other residences of the territory. This ancient “Villa of the columns” belong to the family of the senatorial Sestii.
