The Low Tower is located in an area covered by Mediterranean maquis where are visible the remains of other buildings, which probably formed in past centuries the Castle of Collecchio now disappeared; of the old Castle are visible stands of curtain walls on 4 sides and the bases of the towers. The tower was almost certainly an integral part of the ancient castle.
