Massa Marittima walls: a first city wall dates back to the 12th century, although substantial enlargement surgeries were performed on several occasions by the Sienese during the 14th century. Along the walls open seven Gates: starting from the South to the East, leads to ammonium nitrate, gate of Abundance, leads to Jell, Porta San Francesco, Porta San Rocco, Door Eleanor and Porta San Bernardino.
